Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia was launched in 2012. The top notes are pear and red berries. The middle notes are gardenia and frangipani. The base note is patchouli.

The prestigious Italian fashion house Gucci launched a new collection of fragrances under the creative direction of Frida Giannini. In May 2012, it was introduced as Flora by the Gucci Garden Collection. This collection includes five key blossoms, designed on the iconic Gucci scarf by Vittorio Accornero for Princess Grace of Monaco. The five new versions are: Magnificent Mandarin, Glorious Gardenia, Sparkling Gardenia, Magnificent Magnolia, and Generous Violet. Giannini explained to WWD: “This is a kind of bouquet of scents. Gardenia is very magnificent because I wanted to emphasize the feminine aspect of this fragrance. Magnificent Mandarin has a kind of joyfulness, as this fruit is very vibrant. In the process of creating these fragrances, distinguishing them from one another was very important. The idea is that each fragrance should reflect an aspect of a woman.” These fragrances are presented in long, hexagonal bottles with transparent caps instead of golden ones.
